Problem

Why this hurts today

Glue work between your bug tracker, your CRM, and your notifications steals an engineer's afternoon every week. Without a documented API and signed webhooks, every integration becomes a custom polling job and a brittle JSON parser somewhere in the platform team's backlog.

Solution

What AnchorMark does

AnchorMark exposes a documented REST API and signed webhooks for comment, mention, status, and project events. SDKs are generated from the OpenAPI spec on every release. Replay-from-the-dashboard means you can rebuild downstream systems without asking anyone to send you a CSV, and HMAC signatures let your handlers reject anything that doesn't come from AnchorMark.

Capabilities

What you get when you turn this on.

Public API

Versioned REST API with cursor pagination and per-key rate limits.

Signed webhooks

HMAC-signed delivery with retries and replay from the dashboard.

Event coverage

Comments, mentions, status changes, project changes, integration sync events.

Generated SDKs

TypeScript and Python SDKs derived from the OpenAPI spec on every release.

Webhook replay

Re-deliver any past event from the dashboard so downstream rebuilds don't require a database export.

Per-key scopes

Issue read-only or scoped keys so a reporting dashboard can't accidentally mutate data.

Frequently asked questions

How do you sign webhook payloads?
Each delivery includes an HMAC-SHA256 signature header derived from a per-endpoint secret. Verify signatures before processing to reject anything that doesn't come from AnchorMark.
Are there rate limits?
Yes — per-key rate limits with burst allowance, surfaced in response headers. Limits are documented in the API reference and scale with plan tier.
Where do I find the OpenAPI spec?
The spec is published at a stable URL on every release and powers the auto-generated TypeScript and Python SDKs. The same spec drives the in-product API explorer.
Can I replay a missed webhook?
Yes. The webhook delivery dashboard lists every recent event with its status and lets you re-deliver any past event with one click — useful when a downstream service was down or a new consumer needs a backfill.
What events does AnchorMark publish?
Comment, mention, report status change, project change, integration sync events, sign-off events, and AI verdict events. Subscribe per-event or to a wildcard set per endpoint.
Can I issue read-only API keys?
Yes. Per-key scopes let you issue read-only keys for reporting, write-only keys for ingestion, or full-access keys for trusted automation. Every key's actions land in the audit log.
