AnchorMark
Review

Review the real site, not a sandboxed iframe of it.

Live Review opens your customer's URL in a fresh browser tab with a one-shot review token. The AnchorMark overlay mounts directly on the page so reviewers can pin, annotate, and discuss while a triage console streams every event back to your dashboard in real time.

Problem

Why this hurts today

Iframe-based review tools break the second a site sets X-Frame-Options, blocks third-party cookies, or runs a single cross-origin script. Reviewers waste their first ten minutes asking why the page won't load, screenshots get mailed around as a workaround, and the actual feedback never gets captured against the real product. By the time engineering reads the report, no one is sure whether the bug is in the code or in the review tool.

Solution

What AnchorMark does

AnchorMark's "kill-the-iframe" architecture runs the reviewer surface directly on the live page. A short-lived token authorizes the session, an SSE bus keeps the dashboard live, and reviewers get the real product in the real browser — exactly the way customers will see it. Pins anchor to the rendered DOM, the triage console mirrors every event the moment it lands, and engineers receive reports that already carry the URL, viewport, console output, and screenshot they would have asked for.

Capabilities

What you get when you turn this on.

Real browser, real URL

No proxy, no iframe — the page loads natively with all of its scripts and cookies intact.

Reviewer overlay

Pins, threads, device emulation, and annotations mount on top of the live site.

Live triage console

A dashboard rail shows incoming pins, status, and a 'Session live' indicator in real time.

One-shot review tokens

Each session is authorized by a single-use token that expires when review ends.

Multi-reviewer sessions

Several reviewers can join the same Live Review and see each other's pins as they land.

Branded session links

Sessions can be wrapped in your white-label domain so clients see your brand end-to-end.

Frequently asked questions

Do my customers need to install anything?
No. Live Review works on any URL you can open in a browser — no SDK changes needed for a one-off review. If you want feedback to keep flowing after the session ends, install the AnchorMark widget via the public widget or the browser extension.
What about authenticated pages?
Reviewers sign into the target site as themselves. The overlay carries its own auth and never sees the site's cookies, so even single-tenant admin tools and gated staging environments work without sharing credentials.
How is this different from a screen-share or a recorded walkthrough?
Screen-shares and recordings capture what one person saw at one moment. Live Review captures structured pins anchored to actual DOM elements, with the URL, viewport, and console output attached, so the report is reproducible weeks later — not just rewatchable.
Does Live Review work on sites that block iframes or set strict CSP?
Yes. Because AnchorMark never wraps the page in an iframe, X-Frame-Options, frame-ancestors, and aggressive Content-Security-Policy headers don't break the review session.
Can multiple reviewers join the same session?
Yes. Invite teammates or stakeholders into a single session and everyone's pins appear in the shared triage console as they're created. Magic-link guests are free under project sharing.
Will Live Review affect my page's analytics or A/B tests?
Pageviews look exactly like a normal visit because the page loads natively. If you want to exclude reviewer traffic, AnchorMark sends a header you can filter on in your analytics tool.
